Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonneville has revealed a new fridge is set to leave Mrs. Patmore frozen with fear in the new series.
The Downton cook, played by Lesley Nicol, is not a fan of the various mod cons that have been creeping into the house as the show moves further into the 20th century, and series six will see her face a new demon – the refrigerator.
Hugh said: “We’re in 1925 now and Mrs Patmore’s latest horror story is the fridge. Which is another invention that is coming to take her out of her profession.
