Suffering from Downton Abbey withdrawal? Missing Manor of Speaking?
I feel your pain. Sunday just doesn’t seem like Sunday without a zinger from Maggie Smith playing the Dowager Countess Violet or seeing the after show with Ernie Manouse so you can indulge in a replay of the episode’s most memorable moments. Plus I could wear Downton Abbey jewelry and drink tea and flip through my Unofficial Downton Abbey Cookbook and dream about Lady Mary’s clothes and such. Hey: It was fun.
Nothing like having a charming countess come to town to make you feel like (maybe) you can make it until the next season starts — especially if you can actually meet her in person.
