Downton Abbey Season 6 Spoilers: Lady Mary Set To Find A New Man? Is Her Ex Still Alive?

Series creator Julian Fellowes has hinted that a new man might enter the life of Lady Mary and perhaps he will be the one that she will eventually end up with. Speaking in an interview with Variety, Fellowes revealed that Matthew Goode’s character, Henry Talbot could be the man that will be Lady Mary’s (Michelle Dockery) happily-ever-after.

Vanity Fair noted that Henry Talbot had much more chemistry with Lady Mary than the two suitors who had been ardently pursuing her — Lord Gillingham and Charles Blake. “Mary has definitely shown a flicker of interest she hasn’t much shown before, so it will be interesting as to where that goes,” executive producer Gareth Neame said.
