Hugh Bonneville won’t rule out Downton Abbey movie appearance

Hugh Bonneville is open to the idea of appearing in a Downton Abbey movie once the hit period drama comes to an end next year.

If creator Julian Fellowes gave the film the go-ahead, Bonneville might be on board. “I don’t know, I mean show me the money. Show me the script, more importantly,” he said to the Press Association at the Bafta Television Awards.

The 51-year-old British actor says he has mixed feelings about Downton Abbey coming to an end. He said, “It’s become such a part of all our lives both in front of the camera and behind.”
