‘Downton Abbey’ Cast Reveals How They Want the Series to End

Now that Downton Abbey’s final season has been announced, the fun part begins — speculating about what’s going to happen to the manor’s various fan-favorite characters as the series nears its end. The stars of the hit British series are equally curious to discover what’s in store for their onscreen counterparts, as evidenced by this video — including Hugh Bonneville, Laura Carmichael, and Phyllis Logan — outlining what they’d like to see happen before Downton closes its doors for good. Bonneville, for example, pictures Lord Grantham hopping in an open-top car with his wife, Lady Cora, and jetting off for the Riviera, leaving their cares (and their pesky kids) behind them.
